Retroactive I involved four established artists exhibiting work from an earlier in their career. In turn each piece became the stimulus for four emerging artists to respond to. Included are Vivienne Binns, Bob Boynes, Steven Holland and Patsy Payne. Responding to their work respectively are Karena Keys, Trevelyan Clay, Bernie Slater and Julian Laffan.
Retroactive II required the artists to respond to an artwork of influence to each pair. This exhibition included Charlie Sofo with Steven Holland, Helen Shelley with Derek O'Connor, Emma Wise with Silvia Velez and Sarina Nordhuis-Fairfax with Barbie Kjar,
Retroactive III invited the pairs of artists to respond to ideas of place and included, Jay Kochel with David Jenz, GW Bot with Julian Laffan, Maragaret Goninon with Micky Allen and Emily O'Brien with Ex De Medici.
Retroactive is the culmination of conversation, reflection and reaction between artists thereby creating a dialogue that crosses issues and boundaries of time.
